A “UL” listing indicates the safety of the product has been independently examined and evaluated by Underwriters Laboratories and has earned the right to carry the UL mark. A ”CUL” listing indicates the safety of the product has been independently examined and evaluated by Underwriters Laboratories to the Canadian Standards Association Product Safety Standards.
