Nevco Delivers Major Video, Audio, and Structural Upgrades at Emporia State University
EDWARDSVILLE, IL, February 11, 2026 – Nevco Sports, a leading provider of integrated sports solutions, has completed a series of significant facility upgrades at Emporia State University in Emporia, KS, enhancing the game-day experience for fans, athletes, and staff alike.
Francis G. Welch Stadium, home to the Hornets football and men’s and women’s outdoor track teams, now features a 10mm Outdoor Video Display (25.2’H x 40.94’W), a Stadium Pro 2000 Sound System, and a Custom Truss—delivering a modern, high-impact solution designed for outdoor performance and long-term reliability.
During the installation process, Nevco also deployed a VisionMax 18 Portable LED Trailer (18′ x 10′ 3.9mm display) on site, allowing a local high school to continue hosting its football games with access to a scoreboard while construction was underway. This temporary solution ensured uninterrupted game-day operations and highlights Nevco’s commitment to supporting not only collegiate partners, but also the surrounding community.
The new 10mm Outdoor LED Video Display provides crisp visuals, vibrant color, and excellent visibility in all lighting conditions, giving Emporia State a powerful platform for live video, graphics, and sponsor content. Paired with the display, Nevco installed its Stadium Pro 2000 Sound System, engineered to deliver clear, evenly distributed audio throughout the venue for announcements, music, and in-game entertainment.
