One Arena. One Roar: Nevco Sports and Toadvine Enterprises Outfit the New Christian County Tigers

EDWARDSVILLE, IL, August 19, 2026 – Nevco Sports, in partnership with Kentucky-based dealer Toadvine Enterprises, is proud to announce the completion of a new video and scoring installation at Christian County High School’s Hopkinsville Rotary Arena in Hopkinsville, Kentucky — a facility now serving one of the most significant athletic transformations in the region’s history.

For decades, Hopkinsville High and Christian County High played out one of Kentucky’s most storied crosstown rivalries, facing off in football, basketball, and beyond as the Tigers and the Colonels. This year, the two schools officially became one, consolidating into a single Christian County High School under a unified Tigers identity. That spirit of unity now lives inside the Hopkinsville Rotary Arena, where Nevco’s new display and scoring ecosystem gives the merged program a home court built for its next chapter.

“Bringing our two communities together meant giving our student-athletes and fans a facility that reflects who we are now,” said Jacob Ezell, Athletic Director at Christian County High School. “This new video and scoring system gives our teams and our fans something to be proud of every time they walk into this arena.”

At center court, a 3.9mm indoor four-face video display [four 6’7″ x 8’2″ LED screens facing every corner of the gym] turns game night into a full sensory experience: sharp live action, real-time scoring, animations and team graphics visible from every seat. Courtside you’ll find a 10′ LED scorers table flanked by two 4′ rear-lit tables on one side, and 20′ of LED tables flanked by two more 4′ rear-lit tables on the other — both extending the branded look to the bench for a polished sideline presence. Together, the new displays do more than elevate the fan experience – they turn every screen into sellable sponsorship real estate, giving the Tigers program a built-in revenue engine that local businesses can buy into for years to come.

Both the video display and the LED scorer’s table run on Nevco ONE Video Pro, Nevco’s all-in-one content and scoring platform. Game operators can build sponsor rotations, pull instant replays, and run live scoring, animations and graphics from a single mobile-friendly controller with no dedicated production crew and no costly subscription required. That means Christian County can turn on a new sponsorship revenue stream without adding staff or complexity, running it with the same ease as the LED display itself.

 

Three ancillary scoreboards, Nevco Model 2700’s, keep the score, clock, and game details in clear view from every seat at each end of the arena. All scoreboards include Electronic Team Names which allow the Tigers to customize the team names for every team that plays in the arena. A single-sided set of SSC7 shot clocks and a full set of locker room clocks complete the installation, creating a cohesive, game-ready environment from the court to the locker rooms — a fitting foundation for a Tigers program taking the floor together for the first time.

Tying it all together, ScoreBird, now part of Nevco, keeps the arena’s scoring systems connected to the outside world by pulling real-time score, clock and game data and feeding it straight into Christian County’s livestream. The result: broadcast-ready overlays on YouTube or Facebook and scores reported automatically to the KHSAA and schedule providers with zero extra staff time. What used to require a broadcast crew now runs quietly in the background of every home game.
