The Ellenville Blue Devils’ outdoor athletic field now carries a new Model 7685 scoreboard in royal blue with white striping and amber digits and Electronic Team Names, arriving alongside the district’s newly rebuilt track and field facility. An arched ADO sign spelling “Blue Devils” with the mascot at center frames the top, while a second sign below carries forward one of Ellenville’s most meaningful traditions: the Capt. Robert Woodhouse Memorial Scoreboard, honoring a 1964 Ellenville graduate and Army captain killed in action in Vietnam, whose memory has been kept alive on the district’s scoreboard for decades.
