De Soto High School Elevates Fan Experience with Nevco.
EDWARDSVILLE, IL, May 28, 2025 – De Soto High School in Missouri is raising the bar for school spirit and fan engagement with the addition of cutting-edge Nevco technology, just in time for a new year of 2025 Dragons athletics! The school has proudly transformed its indoor and outdoor athletic facilities into a high-tech showcase of school pride and competition with the help of Nevco solutions.
The new 6mm LED 2-Sided Video Display is a game-changer for De Soto indoor athletics – and with wrestling being one of the most popular and successful programs at the school, this upgrade couldn’t have come at a better time. The display will feature high-definition, full-color visuals that will give every takedown and pin even more of a spotlight. Whether it’s a nail-biting match or a highlight-worthy performance, this stunning new video board ensures that every moment of wrestling action is unforgettable for athletes and fans alike. The display is completed with a Custom Imprinted Bottom and Wedge Panels to provide a visual punch with vibrant designs that promote school spirit and pride, while giving the community an opportunity to advertise their businesses.
In addition to the indoor display, De Soto also invested in the Arena Pro 2000 sound system, enhancing the overall experience for both athletes and spectators. This state-of-the-art sound system, known for its high-quality audio performance, provides crystal-clear sound and powerful coverage across large indoor spaces. The robust design and reliable performance of the Arena Pro 2000 make it a perfect complement to De Soto’s investment in digital displays, ensuring both visual and auditory elements work in harmony to elevate the fan experience.

It’s not just about the competition – it’s about creating an unforgettable atmosphere for everyone in the stands, no matter the sport or event.”
J.C. Culwell Stadium, home to the Dragons football, soccer and track teams, also got an upgrade with the addition of their new Video and Scoring solution. The new 10mm Full Color LED Video Display measuring 15.75’H x 31.5’W, is equipped with everything needed to create the perfect game-day atmosphere. The display is accompanied by a custom 32’W strip scoreboard with Electronic Team Names, and Stadium Pro 1000 Sound System backed by audio leaders Electro-Voice and Dynacord. The solution is topped off with a Decorative Truss and Truss Letter and includes 8 sponsor advertisements prominently below the scoreboard for prime exposure on game-days. A set of Delay of Game Timers, round out the additions. Each of these components play a key role in keeping the game flowing and the fans engaged. These upgrades were part of a larger stadium renovation initiative which also included new bleachers and press box.
